The Selfridge Angel

One from late 2005. I've not shot much over the last few days that I'm terribly happy with (as you might have guessed from yesterday's effort ;)

I imagine this may be a shot people will love or hate. If you are familiar with Birmingham (UK), you'll know the Bullring Shopping Centre - and the Selfridges store. The exterior is curved and covered with thousands of the aluminium discs you see here. Next door to this temple of consumerism is situated the church of St. Martin in the Bullring - the right hand side of this image.

I thought the two made an interesting combination.
