Chesterton windmill must be the most over photographed building in my area...
I actually dashed out this evening because the sky started to look interesting. I was about 10 minutes too late and Chesterton was my nearest option.
The image is a combination of two shots about 1.5 stops apart - one for the ground, one for the sky. They're manually combined with a layer mask in PShop. There is also a bit of colour enhancement, colour tweaking, local contrast enhancement and other fiddling...
I guess it just goes to show that you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear... ;)
