November Light

5th of November - Bonfire night - is a Great British tradition when we wrap up, gather round a roaring bonfire and enjoy fireworks across the land. Our village has a great community bonfire and firework display. This year, rather than going for the usual approach (tripod et al), I thought I'd shoot handheld and see what 'abstracts' I came back with. Most, of course, hit the trash can, but there were a couple that made the attempt very worthwhile. This is one of them (another to follow tomorrow).

Handheld, 4 seconds at f11, 85mm lens on 1.6 crop body.
